Today Macie walked on grass without shoes. She thought it was so funny! Unkie was walking her. She was high stepping and trying to stand on his feet. This was too cute!
Tonight she got the remote for her daddy! This will be the first of many!

Growing & Changing so Fast
Macie is quickly approaching her ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY! (I think I am going to be sick) When people tell you that kids grow up fast. Listen! It is so true!
She is still scooting all over the place very fast, walking a little more each day, pulling up on everything, growing another tooth (up to 4 now), accomplished climbing steps (today), starting to drink real milk (loves it), first Boo Boo the other day (bumped her head & got a bruise), loves to sing her ABC's & Happy Birthday (ya know the baby version), figured out how to leave church early ( gets wild & laughs at everyone while leaving), turns the TV on & off, blows kisses, waves bye-bye, cruises everywhere in her walker (hard floors, carpet, concrete & grass), talking up at storm (wonder who she gets that from), and always has a SMiLE :) I could keep going but you get the clue! I must say I have a VERY ACTIVE, WONDERFUL CHILD!
Macie had her first boating experience last weekend in Cumberland. She looked so cute in her life jacket! The faster the boat went the more she squealed and laughed. She really loved to sit on Poppy's lap and steer the boat. She even went swimming in the lake with her float. She didn't want out of the lake but, I think that she was water logged & I know very pruned. She also got to experience her first Somerset Flea Market. Whew! The sites you can see.... kept my nosey child very busy.
Well, that is all for now. Oh wait!! Macie wanted to Thank Mrs. Judy for giving her a bottle in the middle of County Market the other day. It was so nice of her to volunteer. We think she was really missing Ollie though. Just Kidding! It is just that grandmother instinct. (Macie thought that she was going to miss a meal or something) LOL! Not My child! Eleven months old wearing 24 month- 2t clothes.

First Steps... June 26th
Well, it was only a matter of time before Miss Macie was going to take off walking. Friday night, Julie, Ronnie, & Rick came over. I guess Macie was so excited she had company. That she decided she would show off.
Julie and I were on the floor and Macie was walking back and forth with our fingers. Then, a couple minutes later she was swatting our hands away. She just took off. The first couple of steps I screamed so loud! You would of fell over too! How exciting! So then, Chad, Ronnie, & Rick came running in and saw it for there own eyes! I immediately called Nana & Poppy because they are in Las Vegas. They were so excited too!
Then Saturday, She scoots over to the couch and pulls herself up! Are you kidding me?? Now baby proofing just went to a new level. So off to BabiesRUS we went.
By the way.. Macie has became a Little Fish! She absolutely loves the water. We have been swimming the past 5 out of 10 days. The funny part is that we don't even have a pool. (Thank you Rick & The Bells!) Watch out! If you have water we may just show up! LOL!

And we have a .... Momma
YAY!! Macie finally said Momma!!!! It was only 6 days shy of beating DaDa. Oh well.
Tonight Macie got to go on a tractor ride with Unkie and then Poppy. Poppy took her to see the neighbors potbelly pig. It is Huge!! Macie just looked and laughed. Then, she tried on her new ladybug float for the pool. She was so excited. Now we just need to work in some pool time.

Macie is 10 Months old!
Happy 10 month Birthday Miss Macie!!!!
Today is the 10 month birthday! I can't believe in 2 months she will be 1. That is crazy. Well, Miss Macie spent the day playing with her house and scooting all around. She keeps going up on her knees and decides she can get there faster on her butt. Today she did pull herself up and stand. I sure she has done this before, because she acted like it was no big deal.
After a well needed nap, we were off to the hospital to see Poppy. She was all dressed up in her new red & white dress that Margaret gave her. She looked adorable! Pigtails and the whole nine yards. Her and Poppy had a great evening of bonding. It was needed. Poppy is going stir crazy. Macie had to give Poppy kisses and then had to leave go get dinner. Macie, Nana, & I went to McAlister's. Then Macie got to go to Nana's while I came back to the hospital for some food for Poppy. We could of thought of a better place to be on Macie's 10 month birthday but, it doesn't matter where you are.... it just matters who you are with!
