Christmas in a Nut Shell

Well, Miss Macie had a WONDERFUL Christmas! She got tons of toys and clothes from Santa, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. The best part of it all was watching her facial expressions with every gift that she opened. It really made me get into the SPIRIT of CHRISTMAS!!
She was also very busy in December with making cookies with her cousins, going to the Festival of Lights, Duke Energy Train display, Watching Santa, Rudolph, and an Elf repel from the Macy's building downtown on Fountain Square, The Children's Bell Choir at Church, Going to see Santa, and of course SHOPPING!!
Whew!!! That is New Year's Eve was very low key!! Plus, the fact that Macie is getting her bottom molars and hasn't been in the Best of Moods.

Santa Baby

Today we went to the Florence Mall to see Santa. Aunt Christy and Unkie Monkey(eric) went for back up. I was afraid it could get ugly. We got lucky no line/ no waiting!!
Macie did great but, there was no way she was sitting on his lap. There was no crying or tears. She just wanted the sit in the chair without Santa. Then after seeing Santa, Unkie took Macie on the carousel twice. She had a BLAST :)

15 months old

Yes indeed! My baby is now 15 months old. My oh my, how the time flys. Well, I am proud to say that Miss Macie is growing like a weed. She just had her check-up at the doctors and it was perfect! She is now 27 1/2 lbs and 33 1/2 inches. That means... she is almost off the charts in growing. Can you believe she grew 3 inches in 3 months. Crazy! Macie will be taller than her momma by age 4. LOL! Dr. Reidy couldn't believe how much our girl is doing. He said, "She is Brilliant!" Thankfully, she gets that from me. Little Miss Macie is now Climbing, Dancing, Running, Flipping, Jumping, & etc. I could go on and on. Let's just say... She never sits!

Well, our little witch enjoyed Halloween. She wasn't scared at all. She actually thought scary masks were funny. Weird? I know!
So, now we are getting ready for the Holidays. I can't wait to see Macie at Christmas this year! It is going to be so much fun.

Visits,Photos, & Parade

Ever since Macie has turned One we have been on the move. She is walking and walking and walking! It is very hard to even get her to stop. Let alone sit! She has also been on the move socially too!
Just this past week....

Monday: Macie got to go met her Great Grandma Houp in Glencoe. She really put on a show for her. Mommal couldn't believe how much she looked like her mommy. She also said, "She was the friendliest baby she has ever met. " This trip for me was bittersweet but, it was long over due. I am just so glad the finally got to meet.

Tuesday: Was picture day! I had to call in reinforcement. So, Aunt Jean came along for all of the picture taking excitement. Boy, did we have a blast! Macie had a hour and a half photo shoot. This is going to cost me. LOL! Afterwards we stopped by Nana's work to say Hi. Then it was off to lunch with Aunt Jean at the Mexican Restaurant. Nana later met up with us. We had to do the switch so I could head to work.

Okay People this part you are not going to believe. Later that evening Chad came home to a baby goat on our front porch. Yes!! A GOAT!!
I think this is a sign saying we need to start a petting zoo!!! LOL!! Not going to happen!! Now are drama is that we can't catch the goat to take it to the petting zoo. We even had our neighbors and Buddy from Noah's Ark petting zoo over to try to catch it. The best part is that he sits on our front steps like Libby does. Crazy Goat! I will keep you updated on this fiasco.

Wednesday: Macie got to enjoy the Alexandria World's Fair Parade. She went totally crazy! She loved it! I think she enjoyed the marching band the best. I was totally shocked that the fire trucks with the sirens didn't even phase her. She just waved and laughed. Maybe she was showing off because Oliver was there.
